Mount Abu
Mount Abu Weekend Guide: Lakes, Temples and Sunset Points
A polished 2 to 3 day Mount Abu guide covering Nakki Lake, Dilwara Temples, viewpoints and relaxed hill-station stays.
Mount Abu feels different from the rest of Rajasthan. Instead of desert heat and fort-heavy routes, you get winding hill roads, cool evenings, quiet lake views and forested viewpoints. Start with Nakki Lake in the evening, when boats move slowly across the water and the market begins to glow. Keep Dilwara Jain Temples for the morning, because the marble work deserves time and silence. Later, head toward Guru Shikhar or Sunset Point for wide views of the Aravalli hills. Mount Abu works best as a slow weekend: one day for temples and lake life, one day for viewpoints, cafes and short walks.
